Security Upgrades
The HOA is proud to announce that the new security upgrades at the main entrance will be coming into effect on Monday 6 July 2015.
What does this mean to you?
Firstly, please ensure that you have completed the required security access form before the end of today (2 July 2015). This is required in order to load all residents onto the new system and to give access to your visitors. Forms are available at the guard house should you not have received one.
Secondly, owners will need to purchase remotes to enter/exit the main gate, at a cost of R185 each. Two remotes will need to be purchased through the Managing Agent (AIV). If you need more than two remotes you will need to specify how many are needed. Residents can opt to pay this now or have an option to get this cost loaded onto their levy account. Entrance into the individual complexes will continue as normal for the moment. The long term plan is to integrate all complexes onto the same system as the main gate, but for now please continue to use your card/remote system.
Important information for visitors:
Security will call the resident if there is a visitor at the gate and you will grant access using your phone. A code will be sent via sms to you to allow a visitor exit. This code is valid until midnight on the same day. If your visitor will be there until the following day, you will need to request a new code for them by responding/replying to the initial sms for a new code. A message to enter when requesting this will be communicated. Your visitor will not be able to get out without that code as security will not have access to open the gate for them.
